The 29th edition of The International Scientific Conference The Knowledge – Based Organization, KBO 2023 (June 15 – 17 2023, Sibiu) successfully continued the tradition of previous editions, bringing to the participants’ attention new ideas and approaches related to the theme of knowledge-based organization, once again providing an opportunity to share the experience and the results of the scientific research carried out in the university and research environment, at national and international level. This year, the submission of articles and the whole review process were performed via EasyChair platform. Already a registered trademark of the „Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy of Sibiu, the event registered a total of 99 articles submitted on the platform out of which 15 were rejected following the review process, and a number of 84 papers were accepted for publication and presented in the framework of the six panels created around the proposed main topics of this year, by authors from institutions of higher education and research of Romania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Poland, Hungary and USA, respectively:

- Economics
- Administration, Governance and Law
- Management and Leadership
- Technical Sciences and Technology
which ensured the dissemination of the knowledge and outcomes of the specialists according to their field of competence and interest.
