Cuza, Iaşi (1963-1968), mathematics, specialization elasticity, doctor in mathematics (1979) with the thesis Study of the constitutive equations and of the motions of some particular continuous environments. Research Fellowships: Institute of Fundamental Technical Research, Polish Academy of Sciences (Sept. 20 – Dec. 21, 1972). Scholarships: Italy (1970, 1971 and 1990); Fulbright Scholarship, Grant no. 265, USA-Texas A&M University, October 2003 – May 2004; DAAD Scholarship in Germany (December 2004 – February 2005) at the Universities of Hamburg and Bayreuth. Professional activity: scientific researcher at the Institute of Mathematics of the Romanian Academy-Iaşi branch (1968-1975), assistant. univ. substitute, then assist. univ. holder, at the Iaşi Polytechnic Institute (1975-1979), lecturer at the Iaşi Polytechnic Institute (1979-1990), conf. univ. at the Technical University Gh. Asachi Iasi (1990-1994), prof. Univ. at the Technical University Gh. Asachi Iasi (since 1994). Teaching activity: course and seminar (Linear Algebra, Analytical and Differential Geometry and Programming, Mathematical Analysis, Special Mathematics for Economists, and Differential Equations).
