The project has set a number of general objectives :
- identification and selection of Romanian values, which, from an axiological, aesthetic and epistemological point of view, fall within the concept of “universal value”;
- detecting the defining elements for the Romanian identity within the broad framework of the universal cultural and civilizational identity;
- revealing the elements of original contribution from the Romanian space to the constitution of the universal patrimony;
- promoting, through deliverable results, at national and international level, the values of Romanian culture, science, knowledge and civilization that can be included in the concept of “universal value”, part of the cultural heritage of humanity.
